Dear applicants,

The International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn will take place for the fourth time in 2011. Since 2005, our international jury has been picking out talented young people delivering exceptional performances. Our prizewinners are distinguished by their variety of interpretation, emotional expression, technical brilliance, stylistic awareness, outstanding virtuosity, and love of Beethoven’s music. After the event, numerous concert engagements in Germany, Europe and around the world give the winners of the Telekom Beethoven Competition the opportunity to delight a wide audience.

Our declared aim is to foster the long-term growth of these young pianists, to promote their careers and offer them the chance to develop artistically. That is why we are once again inviting 24 talented young people to Bonn from December 2 through 10, 2011, to present us their own personal view of Beethoven’s music and to demonstrate their artistic abilities.
