The participants in the second round have been decided

This evening the first round of the 4th International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn was completed. Prof. Pavel Gililov, Artistic Director and Chairman of the Jury, announced which participants had made it into the second round. We congratulate Alexander Bernstein, Matej Arendárik, Francois Dumont, Rémi Geniet, Fabian Müller, Stephanie Proot, Benjamin Moser, Shi-Hyun Lee, Varvara Nepomnyashchaya, Ju-Eun Lee, Chi Ho Han and Jingge Yan.

In recent days the young pianists faced the jury with their interpretations of various works by Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frideric Handel and Ludwig van Beethoven. The second round of the competition takes place from December 5-6, 2011 in the Large Hall at the Headquarters of Deutsche Telekom AG. This round is also where the audience will be called upon to vote for their favorite from among the twelve participants. The artist selected will give a concert on December 11, 2011 at the invitation of the Beethoven House Bonn.

Important note: It is recommended that all visitors use public transport. The ‘Deutsche Telekom’ U-Bahn (subway) stop is very close to the Group Headquarters.
