Lovre Marusic

Lovre Marusic, born in 1992 in Croatia is currently studying at Hochschule für Musik “Franz Liszt” in Weimar under Grigory Gruzman.

He has won several prizes such as: 1. prize at the 20th „Santa Cecilia“ International Piano Competition in Porto (2018), 1. prize at the IMF International Piano Competition in Paris (2018), 1. prize at the International Piano Competition “New Stars” in Manchester (2016), 1. prize at WPTA in London, as well as 1.prize, jury and public award at the International Piano Competition “Isidor Bajic” in Novi Sad in 2016, to mention few.

He is having master classes in USA, Serbia, Croatia etc. as well as being jury member in Belgrade and Novi Sad in Serbia. Lovre Marusic is recording for KNS his debut CD and is an executive and artistic director of the Ostinato chamber festival in Croatia.  2018/2019 included recitals in Cologne and Kassel (Germany), performances in Zagreb, Croatia (Lisinski hall), China, Japan, Portugal, Paris, France and recitals in Zadar, Croatia.
