Jakob Linowitzki was born in Lübeck in 1996 and received his first piano lessons in 2003. This was followed by multiple awards at the national competition "Jugend musiziert". In 2012 Jakob switched to Prof. Konrad Elser, with whom he studied Bachelor of Music from 2015 to 2020.
In 2012 he founded the "Lübsche Trio" with the brothers Jonathan and Lukas Schwarz (violin and violoncello), which has since then performed regularly in northern Germany and partly beyond. The trio made its debut in the main program of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in 2015 in collaboration with violinist Daniel Hope.
Jakob Linowitzki, in addition to solo and chamber music activities, is also active as a song accompanist, jazz pianist and pedagogue. He received the award for best piano accompanist at the Possehl Music Prize in Lübeck in 2017 and 2019.
