Andrey Denisenko

Andrey Denisenko was born in 1992 in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. He was raised in a musical family and began playing the piano at a very young age. The artist has lived in Hamburg since 2017. He won several prizes, including third prize at the European Piano Competition Bremen, first prize at the Elise Meyer Foundation Competition, the Steinway Förderpreis Klassik and the Grand Prix at the "Grand Piano in Palace" competition in Saint Petersburg. In 2018 he made his debut in the great hall of the Laeiszhalle.

Andrey Denisenko has worked with renowned conductors such as Eduard Serov, Stanislav Kochanovsky, Benjamin Bayl and Christian Kunnert.

In 2020 Andrey Denisenko graduated with highest honours from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg with a Master's degree and continued his Konzertexamen studies with Anna Vinnitskaya.

In January 2022 Andrey Denisenko won a scholarship from Flügel-Fundus Stiftung and played his debut in the small hall of the Elbphilharmonie. In March 2022 he performed at a benefit concert for "Doctors without Borders" in Ukraine in the Chamber Music Hall of the Philharmonie Berlin.
