Darya Dadykina was born into a family of artists in Kiev (Ukraine). Already during her years of study in Ukraine, she appeared as a soloist in concerts with the Philharmonic Orchestras of Kiev, Chernigov and Kharkov, gave numerous piano recitals and participated in high-quality chamber music projects. In 2013 she organised the chamber music festival "the openeD sounD" in Chernigov. Darya regularly appears with solo programmes and in chamber music and song projects, in which she builds bridges between different epochs and genres with unusual programme concepts. In doing so, she pays attention not only to the important landmarks of the repertoire, but also to unjustly forgotten composers and works.

She is a co-founder of the International Nikolaj Medtner Society. She has played concerts in many cities in Europe and Asia. A four-week solo tour took her to China in 2017, and a tour with the Klassische Philharmonie Bonn conducted by Heribert Beissel to 10 of Germany's most important halls (including Rudolf-Oetker-Halle Bielefeld, Laeieszhalle Hamburg, Meistersingerhalle Nürnberg, Liederhalle Stuttgart).
