Nikita Shestakov, belarussian pianist and composer, took lessons in the Republican Musical Gymnasium-College at the Belarussian State Academy of Music (2008–2018) from Larisa Pavlovna Vasilyeva and Marina Gennadyevna Romeyko and Musica mundi school (2018–2022) with Prof. Jacques Rouvier. Since 2023 he studies at the Mozarteum under Jacques Rouvier.
His awards include the 2nd & 3rd prize at the IX International Competition of Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz (Kiev, Ukraine, 2011); 1st prize at the XIII International Piano Competition of the Conservatoire Russe Alexandre Scriabine (Paris, France, 2013); 2nd prize at the XXI International Competition of Young Performers 'Eugene Coka' (Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, 2015); Winner of the first national children's television competition-show of the belorussian TV channel ONT - 'Talent Krainy' (Minsk, Belarus, 2016); 3rd prize and nomination Composer-performer at the IX International competition of performers and composers „Romanticism: its origins and beyond“ in memory of Elena Gnessina (Moscow, Russia, 2017).
He took part in the IV Children's Music Academy of CIS and Baltic States under the patronage of Yuri Bashmet (Samara, Russian Federation, 2014), VII ClaviCologne piano music festival (Salzburg, Austria, 2022).
