Kazuya Saito has won multiple prizes at international competitions, including the Steinway advancement award (2018), the second prize at the Artur Schnabel Klavierwettbewerb (2017), first prize at the International Massarosa Piano Competition (2016), a finalists prize at the 18th Paloma O’Shea Santander Competition (2015), first prize at the International Campillos Piano Competition (2014) and the Virtuoses du Futur International Piano Competition (2010), a finalists prize and the special award Madame Gaby Pasquier at the Marguerite Long-Jacques Thibaud International Competition (2009) and third prize as part of the Spanish Composer International Piano Competition (2008).
Moreover he has won the second prize and the audience award for the highest score in the final concert at the All Japan National Competition (2013) as well as the first prize at the Tokyo Music Competition (2006).
Kazuya Saito has performed with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra National de France, the Spain Radio Television Orchestra, and the Münchener Kammerorchester, to name a few. He yearly gives concerts in Tokyo in Yokohama and in Yamanashi. He has furthermore performed in Berlin, Munich, London, Paris, Segovia and Valencia.
