Christine Wu has performed in concert venues throughout North America and Europe, including Lincoln Center and Merkin Hall, New York, the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater, Washington D.C., Benaroya Hall, Seattle, Teatro San Rocco, Seregno, Petit Palau de la Música Catalana, Barcelona, and Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris. Praised in the New York Times for her “arresting” playing, Christine Wu has received awards from international competitions including the Ettore Pozzoli International Piano Competition, Chautauqua Institute Piano Competition, Washington International Competition, American International Paderewski Piano Competition, and Oneppo Chamber Music Competition.
She has performed as a solo and chamber musician in music festivals including the Tanglewood Music Center, Chautauqua Institute, Leipzig International Mendelssohn-Akademie, Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, Aspen, PianoTexas, and Bowdoin International Music Festivals. Christine Wu received degrees from the Juilliard School and Yale School of Music. Her major teachers have included: Peter Serkin, Christopher Elton, Peter Frankl, Hung-Kuan Chen, Choong-Mo Kang, and Julian Martin.
