Born in Tuscany, Mattia began playing the piano at the age of six with Simona Coco, subsequently continuing his studies at the Conservatorio “L. As a soloist, Mattia has performed with the Orchestra del Carmine, the Orchestra Sinfonica “Luigi Cheorubini”, Orchestra “Toscana Classica” and the Schnittke Chamber Orchestra. In October 2020 he took part in the first worldwide performance of all nine J.S. Bach's Keyboard Concertos, playing with the Florence Chamber Orchestra and Ramin Bahrami. From a young age he has taken part in piano competitions, both national and international, winning important prizes, such as 1st prize at the XXIV National Piano Competition „G. Rospigliosi” and 1st prize at the VIII International Music Contest Premio Crescendo 2017. In March 2019 he was awarded 3rd prize (1st and 2nd not given) and the Public Prize at the 10th International Piano Competition „J. S. Bach” in Würzburg.
