The young Austrian pianist Dorothy Khadem-Missagh attracted attention at an early age. She made her first recording at the age of six and has been awarded many prizes. Her concerts in Austria and abroad, as well as her radio and TV appearances have been highly acclaimed and distinguish her as an outstanding pianist of her generation.
Born in November 1992 in Austria, she received her first piano lessons at the age of three. From the early age of six she continued her musical studies at the University of Music in Vienna with Prof. Dvorak-Weisshaar, Prof. Alma Sauer, Prof. Noel Flores and currently with Prof. Stefan Arnold. 2015 Dorothy is invited to participate in the prestigious Verbier Festival Academy.
In 2014 she performed at the Int. Chopin Festival in Gaming, Austria. The year before, she played concerts at the Mosel Musik Festival in Trier, Germany, at the Norwegian Youth Chamber Music Festival in Stavanger as wella s her debut at the Vienna Konzerthaus. 2011 Dorothy had furthermore given her debut at the Golden Hall of the Musikverein with Haydn's piano concerto in D major. During her tour to Japan and China, she played numerous concerts and performed, for example, at the Expo-2010 in Shanghai.
