Shinnosuke Inugai

Shinnosuke Inugai, born in Hamamatsu, Japan in 1982 began music lessons at the Yamaha Music School. Beginning in 2000 he studied at the Toho Gakuen School of Music with Prof. N. Kato and Prof. N. Nakai. After graduating with highest distinction he was invited to perform a recital for the Japanese Emperor in the Music Hall of the Imperial Palace. He continued his studies with Prof. Catherine Vickers at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt, completing them with his Konzertexamen. Shinnosuke has won numerous prizes at national and international competitions including the Tokyo Music Competition, Jaen International Piano Competition and the Maj lind Competition. He performs with renowned orchestras – Tokyo Philharmonic, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony, Japan Philharmonic as well as with orchestras in Jordan, Spain, Italy and Germany.

He regularly concertizes, presenting also his own compositions, in Japan and in Europe. Recently an extraordinary concert tour took him to Uganda.
