In 2002, he moved to Homero Francesch at the Zürich University of Arts where he passed his Concert Diploma with distinction and completed his Soloist Diploma in 2007. His career has involved numerous concerts in many European countries and in the USA. Dmitri Demiashkin has already won many renowned international prizes. Most recently he took part in the "Casagrande” Competition in Terni, Italy, where he was awarded second prize, a special prize and first prize for the best final-round performer.
