Whether it is the Herkulessaal in Munich, the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein or the Gewandhaus in Leipzig – Philipp Scheucher has already played in concert halls whose podiums are among the most important in Europe. His concert activities take him to Japan, South Africa, Canada, Russia as well as the United States. He always works with renowned musicians and orchestras, such as the K&K Philharmonic Orchestra, the Graz Philharmonic Orchestra, the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Aarhus Symphony Orchestra and WDR- Funkhausorchester, accompanied by, among others, Dirk Kaftan, Michael Hofstetter, Alexander Prior, Mei-Ann Chen. As a multiple prize winner of international competitions (1st prize Aarhus/Denmark, 1st prize Cologne, 2nd prize at the in Pretoria/South Africa, and many more) he performed in September 2018 at the renowned Honens International Piano Competition in Calgary/Canada as one of the ten best young pianists worldwide. After studies with Markus Schirmer in Graz/Austria, he received his fine-tuning with Ilja Scheps in Cologne and Markus Becker in Hannover.
