Kyuho Han

born in 1993South Korea

Pianist Kyuho Han began playing the piano at the age of seven. He graduated  from the Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School, and was subsequently admitted to the Korea National University of Arts, where he pursued his bachelor’ s studies. 

He continued his musical education in Germany, earning a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, a Master’s degree from the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, and completing the  Konzertexamen at the University of Music Münster. 

Internationally, he has received several recognitions, including prizes at the Pr ague Spring International Music Competition, Sendai International Music Com petition, Seoul International Music Competition, Münster Piano Competition, and the Steinway Förderpreis. 

In addition, as a soloist, he has performed in venues such as the Seoul Arts Center, Kumho Arts Hall, Gasteig in Munich, Rudolfinum in Prague, Atheneum in  Bucharest, Salle Cortot in Paris, St. Simon & Jude Church in Prague, Kulturzentrum Rheinkamp in Germany, and the Hitachi Systems Hall in Sendai, Japan, among others.

He has also appeared as a soloist with renowned orchestras including the Prague Symphony Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, Gunpo Prime Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Niederrheinisches Kammerorchester Moers. 

In his early years, he studied with Choong-mo Kang, Hyejeon Lee, Eun-jung Sohn, and Moon-jung Kim. He later continued his studies with Arnulf von Arnim , who had a profound impact on him both musically and personally. He has also expanded his musical perspective through masterclasses with Robert Levin,  Pascal Devoyon, Jonathan Aner, Jan Jiracek von Arnim, Yuka Imamine, and Elena Margolina.
