Mitra Kotte has won several prizes as a soloist and chamber musician at national and international competitions. In 2019 she was selected by "Jeunesse-Musical Youth of Austria" for a concert in the series Start-up Artists at the Musikverein Vienna. Last season, she performed Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Tehran Symphony Orchestra and W.A. Mozart's Piano Concerto in D minor, K. 466, with the Junge Philharmonie Wien. In the 2015/16 season, she made her debut with a piano recital in the Glass Hall of the Vienna Musikverein and at the Liszt Festival in Raiding. She has performed for the International Chopin Society, the Beethoven Society Vienna and the Cziffra Foundation.
She has also performed at the Dublin National Concert Hall and the Vienna Konzerthaus. Since then, she has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in a wide variety of cities in Europe and Asia. Mitra Kotte, born in Vienna in 1995, received her first piano lessons at the age of four. From 2012 she studied piano with Martin Hughes at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, currently in a postgraduate course. In the academic year 2017/2018, she completed two semesters abroad with Daejin Kim at the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul.
