Akane Yoshida was born in Hiroshima, Japan. She completed her bachelor's degree at at the Aichi University of the Arts in Japan as the best student of her year with several awards. Since 2016, she has been studying at the Berlin University of the Arts with Björn Lehmann and Norie Takahashi. In 2015/2016 she was a scholarship holder of the Aoyama Foundation, in 2016 of the Hiroshima Peace Creation Fund. Since 2019 she has been a scholarship holder of the Paul Hindemith Society and since 2022 of the Swiss CLAVARTE Foundation. She has won many prizes, including first prize and the special prize at the International Music Festival 2014. In 2020 she won third prize at the Artur Schnabel Competition at the UdK, and in 2019 she was a finalist at the Brahms Piano Competition in Detmold. In 2019, she performed with the orchestra of the Landestheater Detmold and performed in Germany as well as in Japan, Switzerland, England, Austria, Italy, Poland and Spain.
