Pianist Amir Ron regularly performs as a soloist and chamber musician across Israel, Europe, and the U.S. A recent graduate of The Juilliard School, Amir completed his Master’s degree under Prof. Robert McDonald in May 2025.
Amir studied for ten years with Sara Tal at the Givatayim Conservatory before earning his Bachelor’s degree from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music under Profs. Asaf Zohar and Arie Vardi, graduating Summa cum laude.
Amir has performed with the Jerusalem, Israel, and Haifa Symphony orchestras, and the Israeli Chamber Orchestra, among others, as well as in recitals at Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concerts, The Juilliard School, and Sala dei Notari, Perugia.
An avid chamber musician, Amir is a Ravinia Steans institution alumnus, and in summer 2025 he participated at the Marlboro Festival at the invitation of Mitsuko Uchida and Jonathan Biss.
A prizewinner of all national piano competitions in Israel, Amir has also chaired the junior jury at the Rubinstein and Géza Anda Competitions.
His studies have been supported by scholarships from The Juilliard School, AICF, HFLS, the Ronen Foundation, and the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music. A graduate of JMC’s “Goldman” program and Murray Perahia’s distinguished piano program, Amir has worked with András Schiff, Richard Goode, Paul Badura Skoda, and Andras Staier, among many others.
